Pulleys, guide pulleys, deviation pulleys, tension and cooling accessories for wire saw systems. In a wire saw setup the accessories decide whether the machine can actually cut straight.
Poor pulley alignment causes lateral loading, vibration, unstable wire tracking, pulley groove wear and uneven diamond bead wear. Guide and deviation pulleys direct the wire and position the cutting section; they are not cosmetic parts.
More pulleys do not mean better cutting. The objective is the shortest practical and smoothest wire path that achieves the required cutting geometry with adequate clearance around the block.
The wire should sit naturally in the pulley groove so it can rotate as it cuts. Restricting that rotation causes one-sided bead wear and wear flats.
