Self-propelled DTH drilling on tracks
Track-mounted DTH drill rigs that carry their own travel, so the machine moves between holes on its own tracks instead of being towed. Suited to production drilling where hole-to-hole time dominates the shift.
In production drilling the drilling itself is only part of the cycle. Moving, levelling and setting up between holes is where the shift is lost. A crawler rig does that on its own power, with no towing and no re-rigging.
Track oscillation and mast bracing keep the bit loaded evenly. Uneven loading bends holes and wears bits on one side, which shows up later as poor fragmentation.
Hammer, bit and compressor are sized as one set. We match the rig to the air you already have, or supply compressor and rig together.
