Metal-bond fickerts for grinding slab and tile surfaces. Fickerts are the coarse end of the polishing train — they set the surface flat and consistent before any polishing begins.
A polishing pad cannot correct a surface that the fickert stage left uneven. Surface flatness is established here, which is why fickert selection affects the whole downstream finish.
Metal-bond fickerts hold diamond for sustained grinding on hard stone, where resin-bond products would wear out quickly.
Fickerts are run in a grit sequence. We supply the sequence rather than a single grit so the stage actually works as a stage.
